Earning a driver’s license has long been a right of passage for teens. Lowell Auto School is pleased to offer both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel driving lessons to teens throughout the Middlesex Area.
Lowell Auto School program provides teen students with a thorough understanding of the Massachusetts Rules of the Road so that they are ready to take the instruction permit test at a State facility after the fourth class session.

In order to obtain his/her license, the state requires every teen to have 30 hours in-class instruction with 12 hours behind-the-wheel, and 6 hours of observation.
Students must be at least 15 years old and 9 months to start classroom training.
